By pairing students and families through multiple criteria, we ensure a good match guaranteed to result in engaging conversations and the possibility of repeated meals and activities.
We match students through the following criteria:
- Major
- Interests and Hobbies
- Allergies/Dietary Restrictions
- Disability Requirements
- LGBTQ+ Safety
- Transportation Requirements
The above must be met to make a match. We also use multiple preferences, incuding:
- If the student wants a specific pet at the home
- If the student wants a sibling of a specific age range or gender
- If the student wants to speak another language
- If the student wants to be hosted with other students
We strive to make the most comfortable environment possible through these criteria to make conversation and community as easy as possible.
